In this volume we get a lot of catch, are introduced to the series' next big threat and get a pretty hefty revelation about the nature of the magical world.
Getting the gang back together and ready is the main thrust of this volume. Yue finally is reunited with her friends. But her memories of them being a few steps behind causes problems. Setsuna and Kanoka form their Pactio with the yuri level cranked up to eleven. Natsuki and Ku Fei struggle with their feelings for Kotaro and Negi while Nadoka and Akira also get their moments in the sun.
